Spa Philosophy
"A
simplified and natural approach to providing basic spa services."
Spa menus
and services have become extremely detailed and require so much consideration
and forethought before actually partaking in the treatments. For some
this could be discouraging, or increase apprehension for those new to
the experience.
It took
me over an hour and a half to explore, understand and finally determine
which services I was interested in prior to making my first spa appointment.
It has become confusing and cumbersome to sift through the many pages
of spa treatments to reach a decision, and one that you may be uncertain
of.
The mission
of Constellation Spa is to return to the basic treatments that originally
made spas popular. To add variety, we will incorporate a choice of oils
or liniments to our basic Swedish or Shiatsu Massage. For example, Bindi
Oil for an Indian touch, Eucalyptus for invigoration, lavender for healing.
The same
approach for our facials. We will incorporate a simple European Facial
to accommodate skin types. For example, we will customize the mask portion
of the facial to accommodate hydration for dry or depleted skin or clay-type
masks for oily skin or for those who need impurities removed.
Our treatments
are to be non-invasive. Many spas are incorporating so many services to
their menus, and some of these services should be reserved for the medical
professionals. Such as dermabrasion and other invasive treatments. These
treatments require more sophisticated and costly equipment. Of additional
concern is the added risk of injury or customer dissatisfaction.
Our minimalist,
non-invasive and natural approach will also make Constellation Spa more
attractive to those who are intrigued but novice to spa treatments. Our
approach is simple, friendly and very affordable.
Every aspect
of "spa-going" should be pleasant, including the selection of
services and ease of scheduling these services. Apprehension or uncertainty
should not ever be a factor.
People's
attitudes are changing. We are placing greater importance on loving ourselves.
I think that is the key to help us properly interact with others. When
we give ourselves the proper attention, it is reflected in how we deal
with the people who are in our lives on a daily basis.
Taking
time for oneself should never be considered a luxury. It is an absolute
necessity. A relaxing massage, soothing facial, or lengthly
pedicure, only takes an hour.
My simple
recipe for our overall well being has but two ingredients:
1) Live
each day by the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have
them do unto you"
2) Schedule
one day per month as your personal self-nurturing day. If you work for
a living, use a personal day or vacation day during the middle of the
week.
We
look forward to your visiting us in the near future, so that you can experience
Silver Saddle Ranch and Constellation Spa for yourself.
